Park Reservation Information

 Please note:
  • Parks are not reservable between November 1 and March 1 due to winter conditions. Amenities are not available and may be under snow/ice. No event rentals allowed on Memorial, July 4 or Labor Day weekends.
  • Fort Rock and Mary McCallum park reservations must be made a minimum FIVE BUSINESS DAYS prior to your event.
  • Reservation required for groups or events of 12 or more people only. Otherwise, use is first come, first served for groups smaller than 12 (for profit or business events need a reservation for any size group). 
  • Check kiosk at Fort Rock Park or Mary McCallum Park for reserved areas.
  • Reservation does not provide sole access to a park. 
  • User is responsible for clean up/removal and disposal of all event decorations (balloons, streamers, etc.) and other event-generated trash.


Fort Rock Park

Reservations are required for group events (12 people or larger). 
Located between Circles 4 and 11 on East Cascade Road. Fort Rock Park is open 8am to dusk and offers the following recreational amenities:

  • Softball field 
  • Basketball court
  • Tennis/pickleball courts
  • Sand volleyball court 
  • Horseshoes
  • Playground
  • Pavilion shelter
  • Picnic tables
  • Propane barbecues* (barbecues will only fit SROA's propane bottles)
  • Fort Rock Refreshments (summer only)

*Additional tables/barbecues are located throughout the park. Due to special connector on the barbecue, you must use a propane bottle from SROA.

Fort Rock Reservation Fees

Fee includes one propane tank, if needed (due to a special connector you MUST use a propane bottle from SROA) and choice of two amenities for a 6 hour slot (8am-2pm or 3pm-9pm only). Contact us about "for profit" corporate/large group rates.

Use of the park is first come, first served* with priority to reservations

*Please be mindful of those who have reserved and use unreserved areas only. Check the reservation kiosk board available in front of restroom building for reserved areas.

Paulina Park

Reservations are required for group events of 10 or more.

Located at SHARC off circle 2 and Overlook Road. Paulina Park is open dawn to dusk daily and offers the following amenities:

  • Pavilion with tables
  • Picnic tables
  • Bocce ball court
  • Slide
  • Youth rock climbing structure

Paulina Park Reservation Fees

A pavilion is available for rent for 4 hours maximum between the hours of 10 am and dusk. A reservation does not grant sole use of the park and its amenities as it is a public park for all to enjoy. There is no barbecue available at this park.

Dog Park

Sunriver's dog park is located on Cottonwood Road across from the Marketplace store and next to Holy Trinity Church. 

The park is fenced with separate play areas for large and small dogs.

A port-a-potty and water fountain are available. Please pick up your dog waste and put in a trash can.  Park rules can be found on the fence at the park.

Mary McCallum Park (Owners Only)

Located on the river just west of the SROA boat launch/Resort marina, Mary McCallum Park is a private area for SUNRIVER PROPERTY OWNERS ONLY. A membership card or gate code is required for access.

  • The park is reservable for a 6 hour time slot (8am-2pm or 3pm-9pm only).
  • Pavilion and picnic areas 1-5 are reservable for groups of 12 or larger (check kiosk near parking for reserved areas).
  • Picnic area 6 is available for walk-ins first come, first served.

A reservation does not provide sole access to the park as it is for all owners to enjoy.

The park is open from 7:30am to dusk and offers the following amenities:

  • Pavilion shelter
  • Restroom
  • Picnic tables
  • Propane barbecues: Must use SROA propane bottle only due to special connector
    (no barbecues on-site November to mid-May)
  • Running water
  • Electric outlet
  • Paved/gravel walking trail (pedestrians only: no bicycles, scooters, etc.)
  • Petanque court, tetherball, basketball & horseshoes

There is no watercraft launch or takeout at the park.

Mary McCallum Reservations & Access

A valid SROA Membership card (card swipe to open gate) or gate code required. Owners can call for the code at SROA 8am-5pm Monday-Friday at 541-593-2411 or SHARC at 541-585-3147 (9am-4pm Saturday-Sunday).

PLEASE NOTE: In the winter, the gate may be left open for owner access to snowshoe or cross country ski. Keep in mind that the road, parking area and trail will not be maintained and may be covered and/or blocked by snow and ice. Do not drive into the park if there is significant snow or you could become stuck. There is no restroom available in the winter.
