Sharing My Home

Sunriver is a hybrid community made up of approximately 1,200 permanent, full-time residents asPeace Pledge well as a thriving resort and vacation rental component that lures visitors from around the globe – all who are here to enjoy everything the community, and Central Oregon, has to offer.

Here are some common courtesies to ensure the safety, peace and respect between resident owners and visiting guests:

  • Respect property boundaries. Do not cross yards or use a neighboring property for overflow parking, walking, bicycling, river access, dog use, playing in the yard, etc.
  • Quiet hours are 10pm to 7am. Sounds carry through the forest, especially in the evening. Loud music, games and conversations should be moved indoors after hours.
  • Clean up after your pet and put it in the trash. Do not leave dog poop bags along roads, pathways, drinking fountains, etc. There is no magic poop fairy to take it away.
  • We share the community with wildlife: Deer, elk, coyotes, raccoons, porcupine and the occasional bear or mountain lion can found roaming the community. Do not allow your dog or children to chase or harass wildlife. Deer/elk can attack if they feel threatened or are protecting their young.
  • Slow down! Watch for wildlife, children, cyclists, etc. crossing the roads. The maximum speed on all roads within Sunriver is 25 mph. Pathways are 15mph.
