Get Involved

Participation by Sunriver property owners is essential to the governance of Sunriver. An owner can contribute by running for election to the SROA Board of Directors, serving on one of the standing committees, or working on a task force or special work group.

Both resident and non-resident owners are encouraged to apply for a committee or run for a position on the SROA board.

Eligible owners need to be of record (listed on the property's deed paperwork on file with Deschutes County, LLC, trust, etc.) and be in good standing with the association (no past due fees, compliance issues, etc).

Applications for the SROA Board of Directors

All Sunriver property owners, both resident and non-resident, are eligible to serve on the SROA Board of Directors. Positions are elected in August and terms are three years.

  1. First and foremost, find out more about the position and indicate your interest to the Nominating Committee at nominating@srowners.org.
  2. SROA Board application is available for download on this page and pickup at the SROA office. Applications are due by 5pm on the third Friday in March.
  3. For those who wish to bypass the Nominating Committee process, you may submit a "Petition for Candidacy." The applicant must get 100 signatures of owners (only one signature per property allowed) on their Petition for Candidacy. The deadline for submission to the SROA office is no later than 5pm on April 1.
  4. Valid candidates will be announced at the April board meeting and posted on the Candidates to the Board page.
