IN A LANDSCAPE: Classical Music in the Wil is an outdoor concert series where America’s most stunning landscapes replace the traditional concert hall.

Guests explore the surrounding environment while listening to the music through wireless headphones, creating an immersive experience that fosters a connection with the music, nature, and with one another. Explore the full 2024 series at inalandscape.org.

This late afternoon concert at Fort Rock State Natural Area features a stunning volcanic caldera once submerged under an inland sea. The piano will be set in the open area on the eastern side of the bowl. Check-in opens at 3 pm, and the performance begins at 4 pm. Visit the Fort Rock Valley Historical Homestead Museum included with your ticket and explore original homestead buildings. After the concert, join us for a Pie Social and "Barn" Dance at the Fort Rock Grange.

Fort Rock State Natural Area: Co Road 5-11A Fort Rock, OR 97735 This is one of our “wildest” locations in the series. Parking at this site is extremely limited and we encourage carpooling. Guests may have to park up to 1/2 mile from the parking lot, depending on roadside parking availability so please plan ahead. There will be a drop-off area in the parking lot for guests, chairs, and picnics.
