Project Submittal Process

Here are the processes for successfully submitting your project to SROA's Community Development Department staff and/or Design Committee. 

Note: Any required plans for projects listed below may be available through the Community Development Department. 

DO NOT order or purchase ANY materials for ANY type of exterior home project or landscaping without first receiving prior written authorization and/or approval from SROA's Community Development Department staff and/or the Design Committee.


Projects Requiring Administrative Approval

Please read Design Manual Section 1.03 d5 and 2.05 prior to submittal of a project.

Please allow 7 to 10 business days for a Design Committee and/or staff review and decision. 

A Sunriver Building Permit may be required for the following projects. Permit must be paid for and posted on-site prior to any work start. Failure to do so may result in a "stop-work order" and issuance of a Class C violation.

Includes, but is not limited to the following projects:

Driveway: Section 3.04
Siding & Trim: Section 3.06
Doors: Section 3.07
Garage Door: Section 3.08
Windows: Section 3.09
Exterior Colors: Section 3.10
Re-Roofing: Section 3.11
Enclosures/Screen Walls: AC, Trash, Hot Tub, etc: Section 3.15
Decks: Section 3.16
Railings: Section 3.17
Landscaping: Section 3.18
Exterior Lighting Section 3.19
EV Charging Stations: Section 3.27


Projects Requiring Committee Approval

Addition Up to 600sqft: Section 3.00
Addition Over 600sqft: Section 3.00
New Home Preliminary Review: Section 3.00
New Home Final Review: Section 3.00


Submittal Deadlines & Design Committee Meetings
